Hubble Fellow at University of Maryland Welcome to my homepage. I am a Hubble Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Maryland from August 2011 working with Prof. Chris Reynolds. I’ve graduated with a PhD from Harvard University, Astronomy Department in 5 years.
My thesis advisor was Prof. Ramesh Narayan. I’m interested in plasma physics, magneto hydrodynamics, general relativistic dynamical and radiative modeling of accretion onto compact objects: in LLAGNs and jets; in tidal disruptions of white dwarfs; in mergers of black holes.
For thesis, I was working on Sgr A* dynamic and radiative modeling. I’ve devised a novel techniques to estimate Sgr A* spin + came up with a conduction-based model for the outer-to-inner flow connection.
